Mohammad - the Original Sin

If we are to have a clue as to why the Muslim is a fanatic as far as his religion is concerned, we must understand the actions of the founder of Islam – Prophet Mohammad. He is probably the only founder of a religion who kick-started his religion by destroying other religious – consider for instance his ‘cleansing’ Mecca of idols. It might be that the religion he founded does not believe in idol worship (never mind the huge idol that Kaaba has turned out to be) but what right did he have to destroy others’ idols? Muslims say that he was only restoring to purity the original religion of Ibrahim, who was himself a fervent iconoclast. Ibrahim wasted no time in proving that he was an intolerant idol-smasher – he started off by smashing the idols his father worshiped!

The other aspect of Islam, which is unique to it and explains the way Muslims behave, is the Islamic goal of being the state. In other words, it has political ambitions, which cannot be said of even Christianity, regardless of political ambitions churches may have always held. Jesus was not a political being, unlike Mohammad.
