A macro or a micro solution?

It appears to me often that we, as humans, when talking of world problems and its solutions, take it for granted that if our social circumstances can be ingeniously arranged, then we would have brought heaven down on earth. I also wonder whether it could not be that there are no macro problems or solutions, because all the problems are actually those that originate in our own individual heads, reside there, mature there and finally accompany us to the afterlife or wherever. Ergo, if we examine our heads, with or without a shrinker, we might be on the way to the only peace and bliss that’s attainable – that which we create and live by in our own little minds. Maybe I’ve got it thoroughly wrong and I need to head for a shrinker? Any shrinkers out there?
