I was aghast that the Indian Prime Minister and his entourage chose to visit a memorial to Baber during their visit to Afghanisthan. The same Baber who destroyed the temple at Ramjanmabhoomi in Ayodhya. As a representative and leader of India, why did Mr. Manmohan Singh choose to honour a person who invaded India and foisted upon it an alien culture after trampling upon the symbols of India's own culture? A lack of national self-respect or the typical response of a congressman with an opportuity to honour Islamic symbols?
